Personally, I can't say I'd be as forgiving as these people, so my first reaction is to think of them as bigger people than I.
The constant of the middle east seems to be violence. I'm reassured that there are people out there who try to demonstrate compassion, even if I couldn't do the same.
Again though, that's just my first reaction.
I hope someone can make sense of Angry beavers comment, because while I can put pieces of it together it could have been way more too the point and exact.... but anyway, apparently these are big in Rome, and its great that they don't take themselves to seriously but I bet the folks at the Vatican had a fit.But yeah if they were to bring that in Canada or especially the States I think it may bring up the whole sex abuse scandal again, or perhaps general bad feelings.... made me laugh a bit though.
Mr. beaver was probably responding to the post before this one by mistake (about the hostages.)
