The right wing on display for all to see
It doesn't get much more revealing than this. Scare tactics? I don't think so: this is directly from the comments section of this very blog. This is what Stephen Harper and the Conservatives believe; these are the types of values they want governing this country. These comments are unaltered; decide for yourself if these are Canadian values you support:
Abortion is murder plain and simple as that. If the girl did not want to get preganet she should have never had sex until she was married.Scary, isn't it? This is straight from the horse's mouth. Conservatives want to criminalize abortion, bring back the death penalty, think that evolution is just a "theory" and has just as much scientific validity as creationism, and consider same-sex marriage to be roughly equivalent to legalizing child pornography.
Death Penalty - once an individual has been found guilty of murder by a group of thier peers in a court of law they should pay the price of the crime that they did. Rapists, murders and criminals in general have more rights then I do as a honest, hard working tax paying citizen.
Outlawing the teaching of evolution in schools - creationism and evolution are nothing more then theories. Neither one has been proven or disproven. I can know more prove to you that God created earth then you can prove to me that evolution is a proven science. The missing link has never been proven.
Criminalizing of homosexual sex - first off it is not a criminal offense to participate in homosexual activities. It is just not reconized as marriage. Secondly, it is just part of the slippery slope. Where does it stop? What is next legalizing child pronography because it is after intolerant of you to tell what I can and can't watch. (I personally think that child pronography is the most abhorent thing someone can do, but it illustates my point)
Scare tactics indeed! Maybe we wouldn't be so scared if the Conservatives didn't hold these values!

One can assume that he's a Tory since it tends to be Tories who hold those views, nearly 100% of the time. As for Zundel, the Liberal Party is demonstrably not anti-semitic, where as the Conservative Party has many members which hold those views, and have made no secret of it.
hah I love a Liberal making up a "scary Conservative agenda" is "horrifying proof" that the Conservatives have an agenda for "gays and abortions!"
There are Conservatives who want to limit late term abortions, not that any of them have the power to in their party as the party took an official non-stance on the issue. Some would argue that's sad, but it's needed to be a federal party in Canada.
There are Liberals who don't support gay marriage (many, actually). There was an NDP member who also didn't, but she was quickly booted from her intolerant party. There are Liberals who want to ban all 'non essential abortions. But, much like Conservative MP's who are opposed to certian abortions, they have no power to introduce anti-abortion bills in their party.
This "proof" you have posted is a load of shit. This is not coming from any Conservative MP and even if it was (magically), one MP does not speak for the party, as the Liberals have demonstrated with plenty of lousy MPs over the years.
