I hope so. At the very least I would love to see it get defeated massively. If the party split along PC vs. Alliance lines, that would be the best. From what I read it seems most former PCs want the issue dropped, while most Alliance ones still want it revisited.
They know that if they open this issue up again it will only show the public the side of the party that we've been warning everyone about.
Not to mention that a few MPs would chew through their gags faster than two men/women saying "I do."
